Have you ever cough or sneeze and suddenly you wet yourself?
If have involuntarily 'peed' your pants after exerting pressure or stress on your abdominal walls, you may have developed an early sign of urinary stress incontinence.
This is the result of having weak bladder support from your pelvic floor muscles. This condition is normal for women. About 1 in 5 women have weak bladder control at some point of their lives. The factors that would risk you developing this conditions are childbirth, pregnancy, aging, menopause, and history of hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), obesity, and functional and cognitive difficulties.
The good news is, you can start by taking over them before they take over your life. This condition is embarrassing especially when you are not that old (over 60 yrs)!
KEGEL'S EXERCISES
Our pelvic floor muscles are just like the other muscles in our body. To make it strong, we must exercise! Kegel's exercise is an internationally known method of exercising your pelvic floor muscles.
How to:
1) Finding your aimed muscles. Pee and Feel.
The muscles that 'allow' your urine to leak out when you urinate are the muscles you want to work with.
2) Comfortable location. Anywhere and Anytime!
The best thing about Kegel's exercises is that you can do them whenever and whereever you want! Whilst sitting in the office, calculating your taxes, and reading your books!
3) Start your Kegel!
You can start doing this exercise with just trying to 'hold your pee' for a good 10 seconds, then release. Then the next step is to hold for 9 seconds and make your way down. This exercise would probably take you less than 5 minutes.
This exercise must not be confused with really holding your 'pee'. You should know that it must be done when your bladder is empty and you DO NOT have the urge to go to the toilet. Holding your urination would put you in a high risk of developing stones in your urinary tract. Please avoid this at all cost.

You want smooth legs and underarms but afraid it would grow thick and ugly? This gadget would be a great option for you.
Although for some, hair-free legs and bikini lines isn't necessary, but it is highly recommended that we keep our hair short especially near the pubic area. Long hairs "down there" could trap bacterias and it could lead to vaginal infections.

Cant wait to be proud parents ladies? Here are some tips I stalked for you mommies to be =)
Please follow the below simple summary I've made. Hope it help. But please read here for basic facts before jumping into this method.
Summary of how to use calendar method to plan your family:
1) Note the number of days between the starting of your period to ending of your period.
From the calendar on your left, there are 2 cycles of period. The pink line shows the length of your CYCLE.
Note down the pattern of your cycle for 6 months. It may vary from 27 days to 31 days.
2) Arrange cycles. Which one is longest and which one is the shortest?
February 30 days
March 26 days
April 28 days
May 31 days
June 29 days
3) Start calculating your estimation for fertility interval.
The picture from your left explains that the phase when conception is most likely to occur would be between day 9 and day 20
However for those who do not want to get pregnant, you would be looking through day 21 and after (until your period starts again)
4) Start with your next period. Make note on your calendar. Refer to your calculation above. This is your utmost fertile time after your period.
On the left you can see an example of how to plot them. Make sure you also take note the time of your period (which can be seen here small red circles). Plot the day you calculated. If we took from the above calculation, the fertile days are the 9th to 20th day. So here, you can see that day 9 to day 20 has been plotted with orange squares.
Good luck!

Hello ladies!
Bacterias are not all bad. There are good bacterias too! Did you know that you have good bacterias and bad bacterias in your vagina? These good bacterias are the bacterias that protect your vagina's microflora. Normally, the vagina can maintain a healthy balance between good and bad bacterias.
Vaginal infections take place when this healthy balance of bacterias is disrupted. In cases like this, the bad bacterias outnumbered the good ones. Hormonal changes in our body and direct exposure of bacterias can cause this imbalance. Sexually transmitted diseases, illnesses, pregnancy and even stress can affect this balance of bacterias.
Here's how you can keep yours healthy!
1) Wear cotton underwear
2)Avoid sprays and scented soaps
3)minimize sugar intake, and maximize sugar-free yogurt intake
4)Don’t use other people’s towels
5)extra air time, try sleeping without underwear under your pj’s
Stay clean and healthy 'down there'!

1) Exfoliate. Exfoliate. We must remove excessive build ups of dirt on our skin to achieve a clean fresh skin.
Body Shop Vitamin C Cleansing Face Polish.
What I like about this facial wash are the little beads that comes with the product. Because this product is so gentle, using it as a daily routine is not a problem!
But try and find your own exfoliating products making sure that they are not too harsh on your skin.
2) Eat Healthy
Avoiding fatty fried foods is the key to a healthy diet.
Try snacking on varieties of fruits rather than fast food and crisps. These items tend to have more fats and it can cause break outs to our skin.
3) Exercise
The simplest form of exercise is to just walk, this is called 'brisk walking'. You may walk to the shop, to the park especially in the morning. In Malaysia, a brisk walking between the Subuh prayer and 7.30 AM is the best advice I can give. Exercise means more blood circulation to our systems, thus more blood would circulate and detoxify any toxins inside our body. Please avoid walking / jogging in the city where there are massive cars and fumes, this is not good for the skin and for our breathing system.
4) Lower sugar intake
If you have a candy tooth, you would realize that you have cravings for sweets and chocolates. I would suggest you resort to sugar when you feel extremely hungry when there is no instant available food around you, for eg when you are working hard, and you suddenly feel hungry but you prefer not to go and eat. Have a chocolate bar around with you, but eat them wisely. Think that every bite you take is ONLY to replace the energy you lose during working.
5) Eat good fats
Good fats are unsaturated fats: monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. The most popular unsaturated fats are the omega-3 fatty acids. These fats may be beneficial to your heart. Fatty, cold-water fish (such as salmon, mackerel and herring), flax oil and walnuts. Avocado is also very fatty yet nutritious fruit to eat. I like my avocado in sushis ;) Using olive oil inside your salad is also very beneficial and its also yummy ;)
keep your skin healthy now!

What is family planning?
Family planning is a planning method to conceive babies. Basically, it is the "strategy" on how to have babies.
Below are the facts that you need to know before trying to conceive a child:
1) You must be aware of your monthly menstrual cycle!
You must write down when you started your period for each month and when it ended. You must have at least a record of 6 months cycle before starting your family planning. Even if you are still in your early 20s, keeping track of your period is important.
2) You must know when you ovulate!
Ovulation is the release of the ripe egg from the ovary. You are at your most fertile (meaning, highly to have babies) after ovulation has taken place.
Ovulation starts 14 days AFTER your first day of period (if your cycle is normally 28 days).
3) The sperm can live up to a week after intercourse.
